Here's something many new families don't realize: district funding alone doesn't cover everything that makes Rockdale special. Our garden program, arts enrichment, field trips, teacher classroom grants, and community events exist because caregivers like you choose to fund them through the PTA.

This year, we've set a fundraising goal of $150,000 to fund these programs.  Throughout the year, we host a variety of fundraisers to help reach this goal, and families can also make a direct, tax-deductible contribution to our Fuel the Rocket Annual Fund at any time. Every dollar goes directly toward programs and events every Rockdale student benefits from.

Where Your Donation Goes

Here's a look at a snapshot of our 26-27 budget, based on all funds raised and spent across the year. With about 350 students at Rockdale, that works out to roughly $429 per child* — here's how it breaks down:
